Fingal Planning Consultants were established in 1999 by Emmett Tolan specialising in the residential/commercial sectors. The company was set up on the strengths and wealth of experience gained in a wide variety of projects in the construction industry over the past twenty five years. Special attention is paid on individual projects to detailed design and quality of finish.

Emmett Tolan is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (MCIAT), a Chartered Building Engineer (C. Build E FCABE) and a Registered Building Surveyor (B0230).

Since its formation, Fingal Planning Consultants has developed a vast client base, which includes corporate, community and private sector projects.

We place great emphasis on achieving a high level of quality in all aspects of our work. We can offer advice on the selection of a range of competent builders suitable for your project.

It is the policy of the practice to establish close working relationships with its clients during the design and construction phases of projects and to maintain these relationships upon completion. We are a small practice and can provide a constant “hands-on” service to all of our projects. The majority of our business is won through referrals and currently most stem from repeat commissions from our client base.

Naturally, we have established a good dialogue with Local Authority planners and we have a high rate of success, including, a good record in winning planning appeals.
